I was surprised that Felicity Huffman didn't get the best actress nod last night. My sister commented that the "actor/actress who plays a dead singer and actually sings the songs that singer sung in the movie and does a good job gets the nod" rule trumps the "actress who deglamourizes herself for a meaty role gets the nod" rule.
