Send in the Gimp

I use the free and open source image creation and editing tool called Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program)for my image editing needs. Though it may not have the same interface or the CMYK/Pantone support of Photoshop it is fully capable of handing the majority of users needs. It also runs on anything, by anything, I really do mean anything. Old machines, gaming consoles with Linux installed, Sun Solaris boxes, machines running BSD, you name it. Try it yourself.

Sorry Felicity

I was surprised that Felicity Huffman didn't get the best actress nod last night. My sister commented that the "actor/actress who plays a dead singer and actually sings the songs that singer sung in the movie and does a good job gets the nod" rule trumps the "actress who deglamourizes herself for a meaty role gets the nod" rule.
